What is ACT

The ACT is a computer-based standardized test that is required to be taken by applicants who are interested in seeking admission to colleges in the United States. Administered by an organization of the same name, The ACT measures knowledge, understanding and skills that you acquired in your school. The exam lasts for 3 hours and 35 minutes. It comprises 4 sections—English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science, and one optional Essay section. The final score is an average of 4 sections and is reported on a scale of 1-36.
